Optimized airflow in H440?

Heya!

So im building my first PC in H440 case with H100i AIO and I just wanted to make sure the airflow is optimised.

So I am going with Black/white theme so i cant put the H100i on the top. I am thinking something like this:

If i put the AIO in the front as an intake with 1 120mm stock fan below it (also intake) and as an exhaust i would have 2 120mm stock fans on the top and 1 140mm fan in the rear. That way the air moves naturaly and therefore it has optimized airflow, i hope..

Now i know that the AIO will be putting some hot air in but does that really make that much of a difference? I mean the 1 stock intake fan will surely make a difference right?

Thanks cor the anwsers!

EDIT: In the future im thinking of buying Noctua F12 as an intake and put that stock fan as an another exhaust.

The air coming in might be a bit warmer but it shouldn't be hot.

What you have i mind seems fine.

Adding another fan at the forward most top for exhaust probably wouldn't help cooling since it wouldn't be near any components that generate heat.

OK but is it worth buying Noctuna for the intake? Will it make much difference?

So how did it turn out? Are you happy with that setup?

Nice man thats awesome!

But im more curious for the temps of your graphics card  :P

Also just to be sure you did end up getting the AIO as an only intake (in the front), right?

Any difference would be in noise reduction if not for the rest of your fans which are going to be louder anyway.

There's little point only swapping one fan.

Ok so insted of spending 20$ on Noctuna il be spending them on H110i that cost just 10$ morethan h100i!

Thanks :)

If you look at the diagram of my airflow you'll see:

3 Fans as intake in front.

2 Fans on top outtake - Taking air out inside the case, out through the radiator

1 Fan as outtake at the back along with the blower type GPU (1070)

And as for my GPU temps, 27C (idle) to 55C

GPU Overclocked :

GPU +115 (1798)

Memory +110 (8118)

Fan Speed +40

Power Target +10 (110)

GPU Temp Target +7 (90)

GPU Asus Tweak 2 Program

Oh i guess i didnt look at it that well hah :P

The only differrence to my build is that i wont have a blower GPU and the AIO would serve as an intake so i dont think that will make such a difference..

Thanks for the info :D

Glad I could help. ^_^

Also if you going to use the AIO cooler as an intake top then get 2x Filters to prevent dust getting on the rad/fans.

If you going to be using the front of the case as an intake then you'll be fine.

Good luck with the build. ^_^
