Raid 0 Speed

Leaving this here. This must be bug, HD Tune gave me this result 5mins ago.

I dont have RAM drive so it cannot be reading from ram, also its reading size wrong as its supposed to be 2x2Tb Drives in Raid 0.

Could it be reading from drive's cache?

Clearly a bug. There is no way a HDD or two can push those speeds.

Main System Specs:

  • Intel Core i5 6500 3.2GHz CPU

I have suspicion that its reading from RAM. As only that can explain how fast the readings are, i do have Windows 10 caching enabled so that could be the issue.

 

This is what i get when reading from Windows system M.2 drive, clearly normal readings for M.2 SATA SSD.

2 x 2Tb HDDs in RAID-0 would yield ~4Tb of space, not 2199GB.

 

Something is wonky with your setup and/or the benchmark program.
