If you want extra performance, look at getting a new GPU.

Here are the current offerings (In order of price)

  • AMD RX460
  • AMD RX470
  • AMD RX480
  • Nvidia GTX 1060
  • Nvidia GTX 1070
  • Nvidia GTX 1080

If you're not too bothered about the GPU right now, or have some spare cash, definitely invest in an SSD. It will make your PC boot in seconds, and everything will be much more responsive and faster.

I edit my posts a lot.

If it's the CPU that's causing the bottleneck, I think you'll want to save up for a whole new system. It's 8 years old, and technology has come a long way since then. You probably want a new i5, a new motherboard, DDR4 RAM (8GB?), potentially a new PSU if yours is getting old, an SSD, and one of the GPUs I mentioned in the other post.

Sorry if this is a bit of bad news. :/

Ok.

This is a build i made for my sister for about 600$

You can change out the case and fans, but id recommend sticking with everything else.
