Your license remains non-genuine.

Go and buy Windows or switch to Linux. You have no excuse. If you can afford a computer, you can afford Windows.

Realized my reply wasn't clear at all, that's what my "nothing would happen" meant (upgrading it will not make your licence a legit one, though, when I mentioned the free Win10 upgrade might have caused confusion).

Adding to @GoodBytes. If you can afford to get new GPU for $300 every other year, why can't you afford to get Windows for 5-10 years for $150? Think about value you get.
