External gpu enclosure for MAC running windows

Hey Guys, 

 

I have a friend that has a mac pro and he is looking for a way to connect 2 external gpus to it. He wants to use Nvidia cards and use it for gpu based rendering as amd cards are not supported and well thats what apple has on the mac pros. He will install bootcamp and run the enclosure on windows due to driver and support. so need something that can connect to the mac pro as its a thunderbolt 2 ports and not what all the new TB3 ports are type C. is there any solution you guys can think off that might work. i was thinking about the razer core and using a type C to TB2 converter for the mac. or even the gigabyte one that is meant to be releasing soon. a AUS store and availability would be nice. Razer core not yet in AUS.
