Updating To Windows 10

minecraftyeet1

What's your current OS?

On average, Windows 10 isn't faster for gaming, other than in DirectX 12 applications. But Windows 7, and 8 have Vulkan support, which accomplishes the same low-level hardware communication as DirectX 12, to deliver the same performance increase in applications which support Vulkan.

Overall, I personally think that Windows 7 and 8 are better OSes than Windows 10, but look at the differences you'll run in to yourself, and see what matters to you. I've written a lot of what is different between 7 and 10 in this blog post, where I've also covered the gaming aspect that you ask about in detail:

For those who can not see anything a HP P2-1400 L have

Celeron G1610T

and no dedicated gpu.

2GB of memory

A 500GB HDD

A disc drive

...and a 90W PSU

I would keep the HDD and DVD drive and throw everthying away or sell it

Assuming you are using GMOD on Steam. Legit copy I mean

Go to Steam settings > In-Game and select where In-Game FPS counter

Look at the number when GMOD is running

Here's the best update to your PC:

1) Go to ocean state job lot or a local hardware store that has literally EVERYTHING

2) Go to the 'hammers' area.

3) Buy yourself a decent sledgehammer. Make sure it's heavy, but liftable. It needs to be able to destroy metal

4) Take your PC outside or in a safe area.

5) Take out the Hard Drive

6) Save the Hard Drive in your back pocket

7) Get in a stance

8) (pose for the camera)

9) Take the sledge hammer and lift it

10) Destroy your current PC

Wait, you were supposed to do that in order without reading it through.

Okay, to answer the original question:

Windows 10:
So Windows 10 is the 'new baby' for Windows. If you have Windows Vista, I'd definitely upgrade. Windows 10 has that Windows 7/8/9 feel, without the slow spec feel or 'old timey' look. It's sharp. It's rad. It's hip. It's... you get the point. It will take a few months to adjust to the change, but after that, you will either fall in love with it, or pull our your hair and switch to Unix or iOS. The major con with MSX (MicroSoft10) is that it has a 'newer' RAM/Storage/Memory integration system which uses up 100% of your RAM- even when not in use. This is supposed to make it faster, but it can potentially slow down your computer. Overall, Windows 10 is a pretty good install. I haven't had too many issues/frustrations that I couldn't fix when I upgraded. Hope this helps!

Oh... You're one of THOSE guys. Sketchy PC with a sketchy game. Much sketchiness, I could draw from all of this sketch.
