If you really want to game in it...FX 6300 is the best option for you right now...Going for  an i3 will only give you slight increase in performance...Just go for FX 6300

So you are going with an i3..Great choice ......But I would say to go with an FX6300 cause some modern games would not run with 2 core CPUs
