Need help choosing a cpu

Sir, So you need an AMD processor..Right???? And I have a couple of suggestions. I recommend win 10 instead of win 8.

If you already have the board then an fx 6300 would pair nicely with that gpu. But if not I would Recommend getting an intel mobo with an i3

But it may exceed the price limit ...don't you think??? Cause i3 with intel mobo will cost more

i3 have 2 cores with hyper treading and the performance is equal or sometimes may be higher than 6300...

Yes...It is virtual cores.....Intel uses it in their processors

No they dont...only some PCIe slots and other some features will be lost..But most of them are not needed anyways

CPUBoss is a terrible website for comparisons. userbenchmark is much better.

I did tell at some point that 4790k is stronger than a 6700k
