Morning guys,

I need a psu to go with this build: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/Vk6NzM

Is 550 or 600 watts enough? I very much doubt I will add a second GPU so it will stay as it is. And I don't want to spend more than €100.

Thanks for your help.

Budget? 500W is enough, I recommend the EVGA 550W G2.  You can get windows 10 keys off kinguin for ~$15.

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

Thanks.

I was originally looking at the Corsair cxm 550. it's quite a bit cheaper and from what I've been reading, with PSUs that's a bad thing...

The CXM is still ok, but the G2 is significantly better and should last longer.

The CX550M is a great PSU if you're on a tight budget but the G2 series is much better in terms of quality.

CX 550M is good and should be fine for your desktop, that said the EVGA G2 is one of the best PSUs you can get. If the G2 isn't much more, I would buy it.

People keep listing the 550W G2. Great unit to be sure. the 750W G2 is only 9 dollars more (current US pricing, your mileage may vary) and has a 10 year warranty, more headroom, more connectors, and all around is just a smarter investment if you have 9 extra dollars laying around.

If budget is more your thing, perhaps this might be what you're looking for: http://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/nB3RsY/seasonic-power-supply-s12ii620bronze

Decent quality, plenty of watts, and won't let you down.

It's a good PSU so feel free to grab it.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
