When will my Laptop be Outdated for Gaming?

What I mean is for gaming as I due want to build a PC around the Summer of 2014 but I don't want to if I can still game well around that time.

 

Right now I run most graphically heavy games around 1600x900. This are the settings I use for bf3 and getting around 40-60 fps.

 

Resolution: 1600x900
Field of view: 80
Textures: High
Shadows: Medium
Meshes: Medium
Terrain: Low
Terrain Decoration: Low
Motion blur: Off
Ambient Occlusion: Off
AA deferred: Off
AA post: Low
AF: 16x

 

I want to run games that are AAA releases  around 60-90 fps 1080p with settings medium-high.

I'd give it 2-3 years, but around late 2nd or early 3rd year you'll be playing on low, very low.

 

Also depends on games and whatnot.

I got this laptop last year October and I do plan on playing COD Ghosts, BF4, Titanfall... etc.

Basicly a gtx 650 and a i3 most likely wont play those titles at playable framerates.

Your laptop will be outdated the Summer 2014 so I would deem it smart to build yourself a PC then

Depends on what settings/fps you want. If you ask me, it's already outdated. Mobile graphic cards are really weak compared to normal ones.

Don't get me wrong, it's still fine for laptop standards.

And i think my 770 is also kinda weak.

Already is. Laptops are crap for the more demanding games.
