Finding my ideal case

Hello!

 

I'm looking for a new case, so I opened this topic to get suggestions.

 

Requirements:

• Good air filtering to prevent dust build up inside the case
• Has to fit ATX power supply
• Semi enthusiastic (has the possibility for upgrades and to mount fan and lighting controllers on the outside, for example a couple of 5,25" bays. and space for water cooling)
• No expansion card limits
• Otherwise no money or, form factor requirements

Since their is no money or form factor requirements maybe look at the

mITX is pretty cool if you don't want a gigantic box. A Corsair 380T is pretty cool. If you want ATX, take a look at the Phanteks Enthoo line.

Having an S340 I could tell you that there are no 5.25in bays... it does have good expandability, the construction is solid, watercooling in this case will be limited though and the side windows scratches really easy. The NZXT Kraken 140mmx140mmx25mm is what they recommend as it will fit in the case so any other rad. that is the same size would fit as well.

 

Honestly i would recommend the Cooler master mastercase pro 5 has the best modular system in my opinion. AIO coolers will fit but a Costume loop might be a little more tricky. I built a computer for my brother with this case and i wish it were mine.

totally agree with you on style, but OP wants 5,25" bays.

 

who still uses DVD/ BR anyway ???
