You need an SSD - else it's fine-ish

Why would he change the GPU to something that does not affect performance and is 50 GBP more while offering close to 0 performance increase

 

That PSU is not needed at all, a CXM will work fine

pretty decent build. you can swap the s340 for the phanteks p400 if you want to save a few bucks.

Wouldn't you rather go with unlocked CPU? It can give you some more useable lifespan in the long run aswell besides standard a bit more clockspeed now. Allthough you have more cost for CPU and mobo from Z170 platform now, in the long run you safe money if you would reach your CPU limit. Anyway build seem good enough to me.
