Can you replace ubuntu with linux?

Go to solution Solved by PRTI,

Of course you can, you just need a Windows Bootable Drive

*sorry if my english is bad *

I do have a question: Can you install windows 8.1/10 on a laptop that comes with ubuntu linux?

I am interested in buying a gaming laptop on an buget of about 1000$ and most laptops in that price point are not that good . I found the new Dell inspirion 7559 at that price, but comes with ubuntu and the windows version si more expensive... So i am tempted to buy the ubuntu one if i can install windows on it after buying .

Once again i apoligise for my english and i would like to ask for suggestions on "gaming"  laptops that are at max 1000$ .

I wish to thank you in advance

Your topic title makes no sense.

Windows needs a license so you're still going to have to buy one and that makes no difference when you buy one that already comes with Windows.

Not necessarily, Windows licenses can be found very cheap if you know where to look and have a bit of luck.
