GT 420 is garbage from 2009. What exactly do you expect? It couldn't play games in 2009, it still can't play games in 2016

Did the tech guy recommend the 420 to you? If he did hes an ass.

 

The 420 is outdated horribly, and isnt really meant to play games. Id recommend returning it and getting something else, if you tell me the budget for a new gpu i can help you find a better replacement.

yeah i noticed that. dat noob guy thinks that it is still good, that it would run games. i knew this gpu was shit but i didnt knew that it was that shit.

If you can, get a SeaSonic S12II 520W and a 750 TI - the 520W S12II can be re-used if you upgrade the PC and the 750 Ti will deliver solid performance - about 150fps in CS:GO.
