Hi all,

for some reason my PC has taken a liking to using the incorrect screen when booting up, but then puts the desktop on to the correct screen when it fully loads.

Not major, however extremely annoying if I only plan to have my main screen on and it decides to install updates at startup (like it is now) meaning I get a little heart attack thinking my PC hasn't booted correctly until I turn the second screen on to see what's happening..

any ideas as as to why it does this?? Could it really be the simple matter of that may have been the screen I plugged in first when configuring the setup?

If you right click on your desktop, go to blahblahblahmanufacturer settings and there should be a setting that you can choose your "primary display" that should be the one you boot with.

(also noice Oreos, i want them now.)

Thanks both, I had previously checked the manufacturer settings for primary display and that was set correctly which is why I was so confused..

Oddly enough though, just after I posted this the PC decided to switch the screen rounds by itself while installed the update! Which turned out to be the anniversary update, just in case you were wondering..

very odd but at least it's resolved :)
