10.0.0.138 (default gateway of other pc)

Set that as your gateway, set you  ip to something like 10.0.0.10

set you net mask to 255.255.255.0

Hi,

A few days ago my internet randomly stopped working on my desktop (but was fine on all other computers). In my network connections it says unidentified network. I noted when I typed ipconfig /all in command prompt i had no default gateway. Is this an issue with my router? How do i fix it?

Thanks Spesh

ip config /all results :

try setting your system to a static ip

Go under control panel and network interfaces(control netconnections in start)

Set your gateway to your router ip and a ip to a unused ip and netmask to 255.255.255.0

tried this using google DNS and didn't work, error default gateway not available

Specs:

CPU: i5-6500 3.2 GHz Mobo: ASRock H110M-HDV RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB 2133 MHz DDR4 GPU: GTX 1070 Founders Edition Storage: 120GB Sandisk Ultra II 1 TB WD HDD 7200 RPM PSU: Antec VP600P 600W Display: CrossOver 2795QHD 2560x1440 105 Hz OC OS: Windows 10 64 bit

I don't think that the Ethernet card is broken as I can use a Ethernet bridge connection from my laptop to my desktop to get albeit slower internet connection
