Immediate help needed

So I just recently bought a MasterCard Gift Card worth $25 just to buy a few games, so I tried it out, and it said that it's invalid. So I called the number provided to activate my card, the woman said that I have to enter my card number and the 3 digit number at the back. And I typed it carefully, I'm sure I didn't make any mistakes on doing so, but she said that she couldn't recognize the number. Please help me

I literally just bought that card 15 minutes ago at Walmart, I'm pretty sure they activated it, the person at the cashier even double checked it.

Do you mean, that you tried to buy the games you wanted, and the webstore said the card number was invalid?

 

What store were you buying from? Amazon? Green Man? GoG? Steam? If Steam, was in through the client or through the website in a standard browser?
