Problems with Blacklight: Retribution Steam

So every time I launch the game and try to patch it, it will go about 10% then crash. It will continually do this every time I launch until 100% then when It crashed during another stage of the patch, I restarted and it restarted the download completely. I've tried tons of methods to try and fix this issue and I haven't been able to find out what's wrong.

Try installing to a different drive.

So why would that work?

This Is the error message I get whenever i launch the launcher

user: "I could update the game but when i open the patcher the error message with the Self Patching Failed still pops up any ideea how to fix that?"

mod: "They'll fix it in the next launcher update, but for now you can just click 'Continue' and ignore the error."
