To clear things: ACX cooler is GPU cooler not a CPU cooler, and you can't use ACX cooler to cool your CPU.

I don't see a reason too, The ACX cooler fans are perfectly fine and aren't horrid to the eye if you don't already use noctua fans.

Are you thinking about the GPU or CPU cooler?

It always depens if you're really getting a benefit out of it, sometimes (at least in the case of Noctua Heatsinks) the fans are pretty "made" for the heatsinks and switching out the fans usually even leads to a performance decrease. 

With that being said you could try it, but I think it would look horrible, maybe to keep the asthetics switch to a beQuiet! or Noiseblocker fan?

Try the Enermax ETS-T40. It looks very similiar and has decebt cooling performance
