We have a subforum for servers and a subforum for PC gaming but there doesn't seem to be a dedicated place to discuss with workstation and productivity PC builders/users.

I think it could be interesting to have a place to talk about the non-gaming applications of PCs. I love games as much as the next nerd but it would be awesome to have a nice, organized section of reference material that talks about a wide variety of workstation use cases and the sorts of builds that come to exist from such use cases.

Does anyone agree? Does a workstation subforum sound appealing?

Eh? Hardware fits to any hardware subforum (just like gaming PCs hardware, servers are more specific). Software fits in Programs and Apps which is being used for it already. So if you need to have workstation question in gaming PC style, like "How long it takes to render 30min 4k video in Premiere with <specs>", it would be in there. What else you had in mind?

What sort of topics would you expect to be posted there? Workstations are just relatively powerful computers that are designed for productivity rather than gaming, so almost all questions that you could ask would fit into one of the existing sections, as far as I can tell.
