Hello, so recently I built my Fiancee a gaming build so she can play Rust.

Components include:

GTX 980 GPU

Intel I5 4590 CPU w/ Noctua NH-L9i 95mm CPU Fan Cooler

ASRock H97M Pro4 LGA 1150 MB

EVGA SuperNova 550GS PSU

16GB G.Skill RipJaws Ram

HyperX Savage 120GB SSD

The issue is, the system will turn on, flick, and everything shuts off. I've contacted EVGA about the PSU, and we've deemed that the PSU is functioning as normal. The 980 GPU is works, as I took it out of my personal build last week when I upgraded to a 1080.

The only thing I can think of, is that the CPU is causing the issue as in a previous build that went wrong, where the whole system must've conducted static and the mobo got jacked. (First one ever) (Been holding onto the CPU for a while)

If the CPU is not the issue, what could be the issue? Is my mobo jacked up again and I have to buy another one yet again?

It'd help if we can see pics of the inside of the computer maybe... get good res pics of the 24 pin / 8 pin power inputs.

Have you had this running at all? how did EVGA determine that it's not the PSU?

Please quote my post, or put @paddy-stone if you want me to respond to you.

What about the ram that can be a cause of your problem ram issues can be very hard to diagnose

I've used the 24 pin connector thingy that comes with the PSU and the PSU turned on from that. I'll try to get the picture within 24 hours as I am not currently home at the moment.

How so? I have the same Ram in my personal build, and it's never given me an issue.
