Is this build overkill for a PC thats probably only going to run League of Legends(300 fps+), CS:GO (200 fps +) and E*trade Pro? I might get GTA V, Tera Online and Farcry Primal later on though. I also want a computer that can last 6+ years. I might add 2 more monitors later on for day trading too.

If you're getting GTA V and Far Cry Primal, it's not overkill. A i7 6700K + a GTX 980Ti is perfect for 1080p 144Hz gaming. I'm assuming this build is already built, yes?

I'd get a lesser wattage PSU, around 550-650w (an EVGA G2 Unit) and a hard drive for mass storage, also don't get the SSDNow V300 SSD's the flash is bad, stick with the Adata and a hard drive.

You will pay more for 2 120GB SSDs than 1 240GB one, just get the one. And not the V300, that one's not great.

At that price, a GTX 980 Ti is too expensive, GTX 1070s are cheaper and better.

Might wanna get a better cooler for your CPU. My recommendation is this one

Overkill for LoL and CSGO but good for AAA titles. However, get a 1070 and a single, large SSD.

I was thinking about getting OSX on one drive and Windows 10 on another.

You can (and should) do that on a single drive.

Also if you're gonna make a Hackintosh you'll have to research your components for compatibility.

Is there an advantage of dualbooting Windows 10 and OSX on the same drive?

That you don't pay $80 for an amount of SSD storage that's worth $60?

I see, thanks

Also would a 1060 be ok too? Is there a big performance gap between 1060 and 1070?

https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ASUS/GTX_1060_STRIX_OC/26.html

Apparently, it's only 33% faster while being double the price.

If you pick your games well, a 6GB 1060 will last you 6 years
