Need help picking audio headset - suggestions please

Ok. So I've had a Corsair Vengeance 1500 since 2013. The other day I was using a new Dyson Cinetic vacuum cleaner and it sucked up the cable and snapped the cable.

 

So now I'm in the market for a new headset (with microphone). I like sound quality and basically just want to get a really good solution but one that doesn't look ridiculous.

 

Whats people's thoughts? I've seen Linus's Hyper X review and a few others.

 

I'm not sure.

 

Budget: Fairly unlimited (within sense).

 

Edit. Source: X99-Deluxe 3.1 USB motherboard (on board sound).

Modmic and a good high quality pair of headphones. Or the HyperX Cloud 1 or 2.
