This is my first build and I need someone to look it over for me to see if there is any issues with it such as bottlenecking and stuff.

Note: I will be adding a NEC 1770VX-BK 17" LCD Monitor to the build later.

No bottlenecks on gaming performance. You could even go for a 1070 with a 6700 non k.

Though a couple of pointers:

-Your budget is ample enough for you to get a better PSU. Try something from Seasonic or Silverstone

-A hybrid hdd it's still pretty slow. I'd sacrifice the second hybrid drive for an actual SSD. Even a cheap one will run around the hybrid in circles

-The 6700 non k is only 65watts TDP. Unless you want the better looks, it will be ok with the stock cooler only

Give me a sec to suggest these on part picker.

well that depends on what you will be doing with it. is this for streaming? or for just gaming? or maybe editing? calculating hashes?

I am going to be using the build for a flight simulator, a work station, and for moderate gaming.

a gold certified corsair psu doesn't seem like a bad psu to me. usually only the bronze corsair psu are the ones you have to look out for.

you should look at this for that, not at their certification. platinum certification can still be a badly build psu, it just means its efficient.

It's not bad, but it's not the best for the money either. The certification is for efficiency but it doesn't necessarily means the highest quality components and cleanest power delivery, it just means it operates within 80% efficiency under most conditions (for Bronze for example).

But well if you can't find any other brands it's fine.

its hard to be efficient with poor quality transistors thats just how it works.

well, no. there are lots of gold rated powersuplies that are considered bad to use in your build, they are literally considered "avoid unless you can't" for example the strike x 1100watt or the aerocool 500s. both gold rated, both terrible. its usually the capacitors that are bad and the wiring that is too thin or bad insulation, stuff like that. not the actual transistors. capacitors are for smoothing so cheap capacitors will damage your components in the long run, but it won't affect efficiency.

I want the two hybrids so they can run in RAID.

Two hybrids in raid are still lower than an SSD.

If you want raid for redundancy get 2 drives 1tb each instead.

How easy would it be to have a SSD and a hybrid together and backup all the data on an external hard drive?

I would get rid of those hybrid drives and swap them for regular ones. Also try and put an SSD in there as well.

Go with a better power supply.
