i7 6700k overclocking

hey, I have i7 6700k with gigabyte z170-gaming k3 and scytche ninja 3vB.

I applied auto OC option from the bios (i7 6700k @ 4.6GHZ).

I ran aida 64 stability test(stress CPU,FPU,cache) for about 20 minutes.

The temperatures usually kept under 60c but maxed at 73 on the hottest core.

The voltage had minimum of 0.684(probably right at the start) and were mostly at the  1.25v~1.32v with average of 1.288.

 

and the idle temp is around 25c

Are the temps and voltages safe?

Skylake maximum safe volts: v1.35

Skylate safe temps: Below 80c

That's perfectly fine. You can push further if you'd like as long as you keep voltage below 1.4v and temps below 80-90c at load.

I think ill try to game with it first to see if the GPU won't make the case(and the cpu) to hot first.
