first i apologize for making 3 topics in 3 hours :D

after all those topics i am kind of stuck between Audio Technica ATH-M50's and the AD700x's İ will be gaming and listening to music with them i know AD700x is pretty much better in everything except bass and bass is kinda important cause i dont listen to chill music and i am changing my current headphones cause they dont have any bass (astro A40's) is it worth sacrificing all those things for bass and getting a M50 or should i get a AD700x and have less bass and more comfort, better looks, better gaming...etc

thanks,

i ahve the ATH-M 30's, M50's a HD 555's all are great headphones, the H50's will get a hiss if you over power them, I use a Fiio E10 and with razer surround, I get a his, I do have a pretty hefty boost on them tho. The M50's are also VERy comfortable, i were them for around 8-9 hours a day with glasses on (Wire framed) and never get any pain!

I have a pair of M50's and DT 990 250 ohms and both sound great. The 990 however are much more comfortable and I've been using it a lot more because of that and of course the better sound stage. However it's always nice to have a pair of closed headphones near by. Personally I'd go 990 unless you really need the better isolation

ATH-M50 owner here. M50's are just amazing, only con is the pleather ear cups, which makes my ears sweat after a while. AD700x is better for gaming, M50 is better for music. But you can make the m50's great for gaming if you enable Dolby virtual surround. It expands the soundspace.

I think you might be immune to pain because I can't stand the M50's for more than one or two hours straight.
