Is it dead?

What's the likely-hood that my GPU is now dead? 

 

Took it out to clean it and dropped it against the corner of my case. 

 

The pcb has a bad scratch and something has come off. It's tiny but I'm not sure what it is.

It's not dead Jim, most likely a bypass capacitor. Make sure nothing is (visibly) shorting out and give it a go, my graphics card had a capacitor explode leaving a skidmark on the board, it actually cured a problem!

TBH it could break the PC, test on old hardware

Well it's booted and shows a picture,  no sparks  or  Anthing so far.

A surface mount component, how much electronics skill do you have?

Guys, please handle your Stuff with care. 

Everything on the PCB is there for a Reason. Cant realy see something on that Pic tho (beside the scratch).

  Obviously everything is really important these days. Referring to the 3D mount.

 If it was a resistor, you won't know you need it, until there's a power fluctuation through that particular circuit. They adjust current through the circuit. It looks like that's what came off. There are usually more than one though, good luck!

Not the most and since I don't know everything so I thought I would ask on this forum, but thanks for you know ,being really helpful and all that.

This is what I was initially thinking, been using it since without any issues so hopefully it will be be OK.
