Best Gaming Laptop under $1000

Rahool8420

I wanna buy a gaming laptop. My budget is like around $1000.
I listed some of them like ROG GL552VW, INSPIRON 7559, Y700, GL62 6QF.
Please suggest me which one is to buy. I wanna play the most demanding titles in 1080p and in low-medium settings.
I'm more concern about the performance and the cooling technique.

I have a GL552VW with 32GB RAM and a new SSD in place of the hard drive. Its performance is great, but PLEASE for the love of Linus make sure you get the one with the metal back and IPS panel. I'm regretting not sending my plastic one back. :(

DELL 7559 has done me good in GTA V medium preset 1080p so far, and it doesn't get hot enough for me to get another keyboard so there is my vote.

Laptop - Dell 7559

Intel Core i7 -6700hq / Nvidia GTX 960m / 16gb RAM / 128GB M.2 SSD / 1TB HDD

GL552VW (metal version - grey lid) or Y700 - those are the 2 best options for you

How bad is the plastic cover? I mean, I know it flexes but how much force is required to bend it?

It isn't really flex that's my issue, it's just very weak and has actually pulled away from the right hinge before. (Fixed it myself.)

The TN panel is what annoys me the most.

Hmmm, can you please post a pic of the hinge? I just want to see.
