Help With Case Air Flow!

My case is a 4u Rack mount,

it has these available slots

1x120mm

2x80mm

2x60mm

the 120 is at front (populated with push pull radiator pulling air inwards)

the 2 60mms are at the back just above the IO pulling air in (was pulling out but i swaped it dont no why more i think about it gonan put it back to pushing air out)

and the 80mms are on the top panel both pushing in the spacing between fans is quite bit they dont touch compared to normal dual slots

and i also have a blow pci card to help exhaust air

the psu is facing inwards ( i can mod case so it faces outwards but that would be another time and nto for now)

current temps:

cpu:

idle:28-30

small load:34-40

gaming:35-45

gpu:

idle:40 (think)

small load:42-45

gaming:53-68

(thats a very quick test just monitoring my cam software so no were near perfect)

but not bad temps i know very do able but im a stickler for coolness lol

i was thinking.

make from 120mm vent air out of case removing the hot air from cpu, keep blower fan to remove gpu heat use the 80mm above gpu to vent air out then the two rear 60mm use to vent air in case and teh 80mm over the cpu to vent air in to help with cooler air for the psu.

any thoughts

sorry for typing mistakes so hot i cant be asked to sit around and do all the correction lol

Considering how close your idle and load temps are, you're probably already experiencing diminishing returns.

Changing up your airflow probably wouldn't improve temps much. If your psu is taking in warm air, flipping it for cooler air seems like the most beneficial change here.

yep but that means modding the case to have a side vent for the psu so thats a distant project

so you dont think my plan would make much difference ? even swaping radiator around so it pulls air out of the case?

i think bottom line if it dosnt sort its self its time to put it back in a standard case lol

shame as rack mounting everythign is cool

but to be fair it is fuckign hot lately in england so currently 21 degrees at 10 30 at night so and its very moist heat aswell dont no if that effect pc god dam its sticky tonight lol

Any difference would probably be small or worse cooling.

As long as your temps are fine, it doesn't really matter what else is happening with cooling.

ah okay i guess maybe try better fans?

What for? Why do you feel the need to change up your cooling?

im gonna being overclcokign this pc soon and want my temps as low as possibly before i start i know i can get my cpu to idle below 25 i have had it idle at 18 before in my old case with air cooler so

i understand my temps are perfectly fine but i just know i can go lower

ultimately i want it lower so its quieter with out sacrificing huge temps for sound

what fans are best for radiators? that are ott in price im currently running the fans off of the PhanteksPH-TC12DX on my 120mm rad with fractal design 80mm and 60mm fans

Idle temps don't really matter and are pretty dependent on your ambient temps.

Worry about load temps instead. It'll be easier to figure what needs to be done to improve cooling after you start oc'ing and get higher temps.

If your current fans are too loud, you can look to replace them. Otherwise, there's no reason to touch them.

fair but out of curiosity what is one the best fans for noise to performance i can buy or even just for raw performance?

The optimal fan will have as much airflow as possible for the noise with enough static pressure. How much static pressure is needed will depend on where the fan is being used.

If you don't care about noise and want as much performance as possible, there are plenty of 3000rpm+ fans that can slice a finger.

is there any site or guide where i can see which fans have what presure and air flow?? as pcpartpicker dosnt give you pressure info

Fans tend to have specs on the manufacturer website but they aren't very reliable due to lack of regulation on how they are measured. Look at benchmarks and in-depth reviews instead. Performance isn't completely straightforward since it isn't just a dial for static pressure and airflow being moved around. Different fan designs excel at different tasks. If you want performance on a rad, look at fan benchmarks using a rad, etc. It gets a little more complicated when factoring in acoustics.

ye i was looking at silencios for a while for there quite and decent static pressure but pressure seems low and air flow is low compared to other louder fans that are even designed for rads

i think looking for best fans is teh hardest thing about pc building lol
