GFE 3.0 FORCED update killed my laptop... :(

Well since Nvidia forces us to download their driver is there anyway to disable it? I have two desktops with 900 series GPUs that will get this bloatware or virus what ever you prefer to name this poison! Help anyone!!! o3o

Well the update I did not agree to install tried to install then failed, after that the entire system was shitty so I had to use DDU and let Windows 10 update the driver and now the PC is slower and more ****ed than ever before. :(

Since it failed to install it may have skipped sectors that are still trying to be accessed causing the slow downs. I doubt it but it doesn't hurt.

I don't understand that logic but you can use Linux/phone to download the driver and transfer the file to your laptop.

 

Download HD Tune and check if there's any warning on the Health tab. http://www.hdtune.com/download.html
