Computer not booting

I was using my computer yesterday and it was working perfectly fine and today it won't turn on at all. If you turn of the psu I just spins the fans for like half a millisecond without me pressing the power button and keeps on doing that until I turn off the psu.

 My specs are

AMD Phenom II x3 720 (I had the 4th core unlocked) cpu

gigabyte ga-880gm-usb3 mobo

msi HD 7850

8gb of corsair XMS3 ddr3 ram (2x4gb sticks)

xpredator 650gm psu

Check the PSU and the MOBO.

Remove all drives and ram, does the board make beeping sounds? next check post. See if you can boot from a external bootable USB stick and access the drives

Maybe your power outlet doesn't have enough juice( ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ) to power it

I would tear the whole thing down. And rebuild.

me too probably a wire jared jared loose or a loose connection somewhere

First : Turn off your system completely.

Second : Open your chassis and get the RAMs out of mobo.

Third : Clean the gold(under) part of the RAM using clean erasers.

Fourth : Brush aside eraser debris and put the RAM back on.

Fifth : Try to turn on your computer.

could be a myriad of problems. the X3's were called X3's for a reason. maybe it gave up the ghost? try a cmos reset.

How do you reset the cmos

because I can't even get it to turn on at all

Check your rear I/O for a clear cmos button. If there isn't one, take out the battery on your board and put it back in

read the booklet that came with the motherboard. there should be a "jumper" clearly labeled on the board.

Have you checked the integrity of the drive? Can you remove all RAM and use only one stick?
