installing HDD help

I have an old Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM 1TB hard drive in my old PC and i believe it is still working. Now i want to install that barracuda to my new PC to just get a spare drive for excess stuff. What are the steps I should follow? Thanks!

Just slowly put it in, don't thrust it in fully. Going forward in and out  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) . Jk if you want to install a Hard drive watch this

No you don't. If its working you can keep using it and you will still have access to all the files

Oh, I missed the point that it's a used drive, not a new one.
