Hey guys,

I'm planning get a gaming laptop since i usually spent my day in campus dan only use my hostel to sleep, I am currently deciding on which one should i get since the new line of GTXs just released i'm planning to pick one of them. As of right now there are only 2 brands that's available to pre order in the local store, MSI and Aorus. I'm planning to wait for ASUS to pop up if they have a more superior laptop.

My budget is around 2800$, the options are these two for now:

MSI GT72VR 6RE Pro Tobii

Get the Razer Blade 14. Since it's lightweight and small, you won't feel the weight that much. A lot of the "bigger" laptos sometimes even need 2 power bricks. Imaging carrying that with you everywhere.

i5-8600K -  Asus Strix Z370E - Asus GTX 1060 Strix - EVGA 650W P2 - Samsung 970 Pro 500GB - G.Skill TridentZ 16GB

The Razer Blade 14 overheats, runs extremely loud and Razer's support is utter shit.. It's next to useless for gaming.

Get a P750DM2 or a P775DM2. Idk any of the Clevo retailers in Indo. Aorus X5 is hot and throttling and loud af just like the Razer Blade. GT72VR is okay.

thanks for replying, I actually don't mind carrying big chunky laptops since i'm used to it already. I want more performance for my money and a cooler laptop.

thanks for replying, yep. I'm looking for a laptop that's cool under stress, minimum graphics card would be the 1070, and possibly G-Sync

Your best options are Asus and Alienware - they make good high-end laptops. Acer's laptops are 99% garbage and HP doesn't have high-end offerings. Razer are shit and nobody should buy them.

Asus G752 or Alienware 17 - those are your options for a cool-running 1070 system
