Superbiiz? Legit?

I am considering buying some parts from superbiiz since they're a hundred bucks cheaper than on amazon, but i'm not sure if they are a legit website. Do you know? What about newwegg or ncix?

They're legit. What are you buying? The CPU's are usually OEM meaning no heatsink. HDD's and SSD's are OEM as well usually.

I was going to buy an asus strix 1080, but they're out of stock at the moment

Those aren't OEM. Are they still offering the purchase price as a preorder?

Mobo?

 

They only sell OEM CPU's and drives. Everything else is as normal.

OEM in this case refers to packages that are for resale. Dell wouldn't need those Intel heatsinks so they buy just the chips.

@ARikozuM I think there's a strix mobo as well, but that's besides the point. And what do you mean they only sell OEM CPUS AND drives? I have seen mother boards and graphics cards on superbiiz? i know i don't fully understand what your saying, so please explain. I also mean the asus strix gpu is just cheaper on superbiiz than on amazon.

The CPU's and drives don't come with consumer packaging but in a plain cardboard box. Everything else is consumer hardware with the box. Graphics cards and everything else will be packaged like you'd see at a Best Buy.

Sorry if I confused you. SuperBiiz is completely legitimate and just wanted to let you know that some parts aren't sold as consumer pieces but for system builders (OEM).

You can try Fry's Electronics or B&H. I'd also keep an eye on SuperBiiz since they'll likely restock tomorrow and if the price is the same...

 

Are there any other 1080's that grab your attention?

@ARikozuM I'll look at those merchants, the msi gaming series 1080 kind of did, and the evga ftw acx 3.0 did.
