why do they make nice sexy looking gpu coolers and when you put them in a nice windowed case and the cooler is facing downwards? no where to be seen?

inverted as in upside down completely? i dont think the i/o shield would like that LOL

It does if the motherboard faces the other side of the case. There are few cases like that, Caselabs sells some.

Caselabs stuff is REALLY expensive, m-atx is probably a better way to go, I'm sure there are good options there, however its not a form-factor that I have much experience with. Post in the 'New Builds and Planing' sub-forum, they should be able to help you find one.
