Ethernet Port Drivers

Hey guys how are yall. Alright to business. I have a MSI GS60 (pause for ridicule). It currently does not recognize any Ethernet cord that I plug in. it has been suggested that I redo the Drivers for the port. Any other suggestions? Let me know if you would need more information.

Hi, guy from Sweden, you might want to hide your IP.

Try updating the drivers.

well, that's a local subnet, so there's not much worth hiding there.

on topic: what are you plugging the other end of said cable into? it looks like the device is working properly but just cannot find a DHCP server to fetch it's IP address from. (explaining the 169.254 subnet)

I was gonna say, yeah, usually you get that address when it can't find a correct IP (Or if there's an IP conflict in a Static IP setup) - I agree with your reasoning.
