One is a business class the other is OC oriented.

The B85 you cant OC on I believe

The price. 

Motherboards don't inherently change with price. Prices are vary depending on when and where you're shopping.

Since B85 is a business chipset, MSi doesn't need to build beefy VRMs, mosfets for the CPU. They also don't need to engineer "gaming features" that gamers want (eg Intel LAN, better audio, fan control software). So, the board is cheaper.

So if I have no intentions on OCing I should go for the cheaper on? 

 

No  reason not to go with B87 but most people will be interested in OCing sooner or later, just saying.
