Laptop for university student

I've been looking for a laptop to use in uni (computer science), i have a budget of max 1200€ -ish.
After a long search i found this: https://www.dustinhome.fi/product/5010960413/latitude-e5570#specifications (Dell latitude E5570, sorry for finnish site) that satisfies my spec needs, but now i'm wondering if there is some alternative which would be better power/portability/anything for the same or lower price.

I don't use the Euro currency, but does " 1 150,10 € " mean 1,150.10 Euros or 1,294.27 US dollars?

I feel like an I5-6300U with Intel HD 520 IGPU, 8GB of DDR4, and only 256 GB of SSD is not worth over a grand. Why is it so expensive? Unless I'm missing some other feature.

Yes it is 1,294.27 US dollars. It's expensive because we have 24% VAT in Finland.

The drawback is that it doesn't have USB type c however it does have a fingerprint scanner which sounds pretty cool :)

Oh that is awesome! Thank you. But now i have to decide if i want a bigger screen and a better keyboard or more power and portability... dammit.

Yup, it's always fun when I remember it AFTER I've gotten hyped up about buying something for cheap from abroad. Something that looks like it's 200$ is actually (with say 20$ in shipping) 242,35€ after all the math. Luckily computers are exempt from toll, but in a worst case scenario what i bought was some sort of clothing and i would get to add another 12% toll on top of that so the total in the end would be 271,40€...

I would honestly say that's completely overkill for computer science.

Maybe, but i'd like the laptop to still be at least somewhat relevant a few years from now.
