Basically, if you have got the new geforce experience update, you may notice when you record a pop up comes up saying so and appears in the video. Anyway to remove this?

Did you try turning off the status indicator in shadowplay settings?

There is also a notification setting and toggle for Geforce exp in windows 10's notification settings. If you click the name instead of the toggle, you get options for banners and notification pop ups.
