Need help on deciding on a case

I'm wanting a new case for my system but am having issues figuring out which I want between two. Currently I have a white/black nzxt s340 which don't get me wrong is an amazing case but I'm wanting more room since I want to do a custom water cooling loop in the next 7 or 8 months so I'm going to get something different within the next two weeks to start my mini upgrade prior to water cooling. The two cases that I'm torn between are the nzxt h440 in all black and the fractal design define r4/r5 in black of coarse since there really isn't much different between the 4 and 5 it would be all on which I can get a better deal on if I go that route. So what's yalls opinion?

 

Currently I'm leaning a bit towards the h440 simply due to it having a basement to hide my psu but that isn't a full on deciding factor.

why not the define s?

kinda made for water cooling, windowed (no basement), and all black (white accented slots and fan blades).

 

the r4/5 is a great storage case, but not the knockout h2o case.

 

i liked the h440, but it can be difficult to combat some issues in rad option/selection. and tubing runs/res location can be an absolute PITA.

Didn't even think about the S mostly since i really haven't heard anything about it lol. I had assumed it was similar to the difference between the s340 and the h440 that it might have been smaller than the R series. I'm not like a lot of people who want small cases honestly I prefer a larger case allows for more stuff without making it look cramped. My plan initially since I'm not going to have a massive budget to get started water cooling is to buy a raijintek triton all in one cooler for my cpu at first. Then after some months of saving I'm going to buy the rest of the stuff needed since the triton is expandable I can utilize the rad from that for my gpu then buy a kit from ekwb so I'll have 2 rads then get the waterblock for my gpu. Tell me if I'm wrong for thinking that might work well and look athetically pleasing to. And yes I plan to replace all tubing at time of full expansion.

Hoping to keep it under $130 since i have a fairly long list of parts I'm planning to buy over the next 8 weeks.

 

First wave- case and 2 packs of 2 corsair sp120 white led fans.

 

Second wave- 2 more 4gb sticks of hyper x ram and the raijintek aio.

 

Third wave- 2560x1440p monitor

 

Fourth wave- gtx 1070 more than likely the evga ftw version so long as the price remains around $430 or lower.

 

Then as stated above I plan to expand my water cooling a few months after all that is done. I figured since with the raijintek it wouldn't be any wasted money since its expandable and I'll need a second radiator and fitings for water cooling The gpu so I could repurpose the raijintek once I'm ready to go full tilt. Looking on ek's website it seems the average cost of a 240mm radiator would run me around $70 plus more for fittings and the raijintek comes with 4 of those which are normally around $5 each so the $89 for the aio as a start seems like a fairly solid investment to get me started till I can afford $500+ for a ek kit and gpu block.
