My mates wants to build a PC for 600 he seen this http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/w3LvTW is this the best for 600 or what should he get ?

Is the RX 470 pricing not right? because the 470 is roughly twice as fast at the same price here

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/dDZ2FT/msi-radeon-rx-470-4gb-video-card-radeon-rx-470-gaming-x-4g

Also that wireless adapter is probably really weak, is it really needed?

He needs some sort of wireless because his PC will be upstairs and router down stairs. So just change the 970 to a rx470 and he's good ?

The link you had was missing the prices on the motherboard and the memory. Basically, it's not an accurate assessment of the computer build.

Here is my recommended computer build.

Maybe spend a little more and get something solid with a mobile antenna, you'll have a better experience

Like this, you can move the antenna, and it supports up to wireless AC for 23 GBP
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/tTdqqs/gigabyte-wireless-network-card-gcwb867di

and ya the 470/480 is like 100% better choice than the 970 or even 1060, especially factoring in vulkan/DX12 performance in the future

Really? Can you elaborate on this?

Making that simple statement doesn't do you any good.

the i5 6500 for the same price beats it in general gaming, the fX 8 cores are only good if you only need multi-threaded performance for workstation tasks or like esports game streaming

Where's your computer build that includes the i5 6500 processor?

Can you build it for £600 or less?

So one last question my friend is looking at this http://www.ebuyer.com/754760-stormforce-tornado-vr-gaming-pc-7260-5305 is this good?

or else this http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/qWQz6X

he asked me what one was better but I'm not sure so asking use guys

The PC partpicker is probably worse.

6500 is better than 6400 but the 1060 is way above a 470 and your PSU. please do not get a XFX TS 430. Just don't

N that nothe ebuyer is way more expensive so why are you comparing these on a 600£ Budget?

The XFX TS 430w is a good seasonic rebranded s12ii 430w IIRC, nothing wrong with it.

Make sure the psu in the ebuyer pc is a good quality 500w unit before you tell him to pull the trigger. If he's willing to get windows from reddit(if needed) and can raise his budget for a gtx 1060 6gb, get the pcpartpicker build with the gpu upgraded to a gtx 1060.
