You can pick up an o2/ODAC with our LTT members discount for $237 shipped if you live in the states. Good investment if you plan on buying better headphones eventually. If not, pick up a fiio e10.

Will I notice a difference in sound quality between the o2/ODAC and E10? (on my 558s)

Would I notice a difference in sound quality between 24-bit/96khz vs 24-bit/192 khz if I'm not listening to a 192 khz source?

You'll notice a bit of an improvement over the e10, the o2/ODAC will shine with better headphones.

No you won't hear a difference.

sennheiser HD5x8 headphones aren't that power hungry, a fiio e10 would be fine.

as for the 24/96, or 24/192 how many files do you have that are either of those resolutions?

my guess because you are asking is none. and another guess is that you can't tell the difference anyway.

Will work for electronic components and parts

It's been shown again and again that no one can hear the difference between "HD" audio (24/192) and CD audio (16,44.1) of the same master even with some of the best gear you can buy.
