I'm looking to buy a new GPU, and can't decide between 2. I'm not super knowledgeable about graphics cards, so I was wondering what the small differences are and which card is better.

The 2 cards are ASUS Radeon R9 380 4GB and XFX Radeon R9 380X 4GB

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks!

You can get the 480 for just a little, bit more for much more power

How about this one? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814126135

It's better. Lower power, similar (or slightly better) performance. The 480 is more like a 390/x.

I didn't see that it wasn't available, but this one is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125896

You can just find the cheapest 470 model http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?N=100007709 601206485&IsNodeId=1&Submit=ENE

Or, for around $40 more, a GTX 1060 6GB. Better performance and more features, if you don't mind going Green Team.

Either buy a rx470, rx480, or gtx 1060. All will significantly outperform any last gen card in that price range.
