That is a shitty firecracker, replace it asap.

1060 6GB OC draws around 150W. 120W for the rest of the system and a 100W of headroom, I'd say at last a 400W unit.

For what then??

SeaSonic ECO 430W or XFX TS 430W - those are the cheapest I'd go. Or, get a SeaSonic M12II EVO 520W or an Antec HCG 520M if you want cheap and modular

Because it's a low quality unit that uses shitty components.

I agree, I wouldn't buy a 300w PSU simply because a higher wattage PSU is usually cheaper anyway, but he did ask what the minimum was, and a quality 300w unit is fine as a minimum.

Cause it's a cheap unit produced by CWT with poor Chinese capacitors, lackluster build quality and abysmal electrical performance.

Poor quality components, bad voltage control, and other issues it's not necessarily a fire hazard but I wouldn't want my computer to have one in it

However you will not be using most of it's power since the 1060 requires so little juice hence why I said yes it would power it, rather than out right saying outright replace it, if you want I can link some in depth reviews for you to look over

The corsair CX Units are not that bad. I have been running a CXM600 for over 2 years now and i have had it under 75%-95% PC load and I have had no issues with it.

He doesn't need 600W though, that would likely just cost him extra money for no reason, personally I'd just keep the VS, see if it's all fine if not then swap for something else since I'm cheap

CX600 is by far the biggest offender following the CX750 - those 2 are the reason CXv3 got a bad name.
