Csgo 4:3 stretched

Hi guys

 

so I got my 144hz monitor but 4:3 stretched doesn't work like it used to. It now has black bars like normal 4:3. 

 

Is is there a way I can fix this?

Change it to 16:9 xd. Depends on screen real-estate as you can see there.

I used to have it stretched like tweeday but when I put the settings back it didn't work like my previous monitor

You'll need to change the scaling settings for the display in the AMD control panel.

Your monitor might have a setting like mine does called "Wide Mode" with Fill and 4:3 as options. Might vary monitor to monitor how it works but it's something you could look in to. Or check your GPU control panel for settings that scale the image.

I don't seem to have that I just have the Crimson Radeon settings  but it doesn't have an option for it

Should be under Display -> Scaling Mode.

I don't know what the options are, but one of them should work. Just try them all, there should only be 2-3.

ok thanks, just a quick question, do i need to change it back if im playing another game?

If you play other games in 16:9 it shouldn't affect those.
