The 480 will be better, although I'd go with an i5-6400 and a cheap H110 board instead of an fX6300.

I would select that laptopt with i7 6700hq any day.

GPU might not be as good as RX 480, since it's laptop GPU, but when it comes to CPU tasks ... i7 6700HQ will dominate.

depends the RX480 is the better graphics card but that i7 walks around the 6300 in performance, I have a 6300 in my Work PC and a 4700HQ i7 in my laptop, both with the same amount of ram and both (until I updated the laptop slightly recently) with Samsung 840 Pro SSD's and beyond a shadow of a doubt my laptop outruns that desktop in anything (of course I have to use a mouse to actually feel it since navigating around with a trackpad is so slow), so no question the skylake update is better, so ultimately it comes down to the game and it's ability to make use of the power of that CPU.

Also why are we comparing a laptop to a desktop? Desktop performance for the same price will always beat out a laptop.
