Hi everyone!

So im a graphic designer and Im parting with another designer to open up a Graphic design firm. Our workflow if pretty simple we work on our own projects and have very minimal data transfers between each other. But now we getting big so is our file sizes and we are hiring more people soon.

So I would like to get a NAS that could transfer files directly off wifi but through our wifi router. But lets say that the internet is down but the router is still working then I could still transfer file off the wifi right. So I would like your guys recommendation on a off the self one. I would also like it to be removable HDD so I can backup and archive it. Im looking at 3-8 TB range if I can upgrade by just buying a new HDD and inserting it that be nice.

I hope you guys can lend me a hand

Cheers

Isaac

It has a nice web interface. You can get desk units if you don't have a rack to mount it in. https://www.amazon.com/Synology-DS416-Station-Diskless-Attached/dp/B016EWTC7E

A long as your router is running it should be fine. Id try to used it on wired as much as possibled as a nas is slow on wireless.
