Hi, I want to start streaming my Paragon exploits, but I honestly have no idea how to get started. First about my internet, I have 50 down and 50 up.... I think this is sufficient? My biggest worry is I play games at 3440x1440, and my system is the following:

i5 6600

16 gb of ram

gtx 1070

will streaming greatly affect my performance.... will I be able to stream this game ? Also, can you even stream 3440x1440 on twitch, or will i have to down sample? I was thinking of using OBS as the software.

I have a 2019 macbook pro with 64gb of ram and my gaming pc has been in the closet since 2018

Multiple things will be really hard here. First off, streaming from an i5 really depends on the game. Look at your CPU load while playing and add about 30%. That's around what OBS will do.

Also, streaming in a 21:9 resolution isn't really supported by twitch. You'll end up with black bars or have to play at 16:9 or 16:10.

Fine you want the PSU tier list? Have the PSU tier list: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40-rev-103/

Can I just capture a 16:9 portion of my screen ?  IE, I'd like to play on 3440x1400 but my viewers can see the 16:9?

You can down scale from OBS. But it would be easiest if you can play with 16:9 resolution.
