Broken screen after booting

A-C-R

DSC_0070.jpgSo i was going to replace the old drive from my friend's old ass pc with a shiny new adata ssd, so i install it in the case and then I notice that his power supply does not have a sata power connector. So I sprint to my house grab a spare 500 watt psu go back install it and boot the pc, the pc booted fine and it prompted me to insert boot media. I shut it down went and grabbed my copy of windows 10 32bit put it in and boot again, the splash screen for the motherboard worked fine but thene something in the lines of this happened ''photo here'' (I didn't have a camera at hand so i found the closest picture that I could on the internet so imagine this but with aliased diagonal blue stripes going across the screen). We tried any other configuration that we could with the two psus and drives but every single one failed. Anyone that has any idea of wtf happened I would appreciate if you told me thanks, I can feel my heart race since this isn't my own pc.

Why did you kick it?
On a serious note have you tried using other video ports etc?

Edit, also keep calm mate.

Tried another monitor? If you have no other monitor then try in the tv.
