Best program for recording?

Most people use OBS, I currently do, but OBS is very CPU intensive and destroys my game performance since I only have an i5 not an i7 and I have no hyper threading, what program can I use? I know shadowplay is good but its for nvidia only I have an AMD card.

Pretty much everything is CPU intensive. You can try lowering your bit rate in OBS to see if that helps the performance but an i5 should be more than enough for recording?

What rendering speed preset have you set OBS to?

You can use QuickSync (iGPU) if you feel CPU isn't enough by itself.

Sorry for no replies, I normally if its a more demanding title use 2k bitrate and if its a lower demanding game I'll use 3500 for better quality, using standard encoding settings other then that, video is usually 720p30
